Dr. Arthur Cassidy has research interests in self-perceived competence, growth and development of self-esteem, and both suicidal and parasuicidal behaviour. Arthur has also contributed to both BBC and RTE documentaries on cyberdating and sexual attraction and has been involved as a social psychologist with the hugely popular Channel 4's Big Brothers Big Brain and ITV's I'm a Celebrity ...Get Me Out of Here Now, and is a regular contributor to glossy magazine articles, tabloids, and working with casting producers on the design of television reality shows and other Light entertainment programmes which involve major psychological and ethical components.His work now involves bringing the application of Psychological principles to the general public in the form of both psychological game shows and in the design and creation of both serious documentaries and sensitive issues concerning many wideranging human behavioural issues.
Dr. Cassidy is now working as a freelance psychologist in both Northern Ireland and London , and is a media trained member of the British Psychological Society's Media Branch and is available for both Television and Radio Broadcasting work.
